Sisterhood or Friendship

I wrote my first one nearly two years ago. And thought I would write a more updated version. Through life you will have friendships that turn in to what I call 'family' ships. And having family ships could be with the ones who you have chosen and have chosen you. ...

Smaller
One thing I’ve learnt is that quality reigns supreme over quantity. It’s okay to have a group of people that you hang out with, even party with. But the sisterhood remains in the ones you can talk to and really be yourself around.
Family that you chose
I’m so appreciative that I have my sister who I consider one of my best friends. She keeps me in check. (She enjoys that too much.) And alongside a few others that’s all I need.
Support
The highs and the lows we all face and go through are emotional all the time. And it’s sometime the support from your tribe that get you through. Not only that I look around me and the admiration I have for my team is great. I appreciate different characteristics in each one of them.
Distance and Time
This shouldn’t matter in these times. Technology takes care of that, but what I mean is no matter how far real friends are always there. And no matter how long you haven’t spoken for you can easily just start where you left off.
Over the last few years I think my circle has become even more smaller. And that’s okay. I’m a firm believer in some people are meant to be in your space for a season and a reason. And no matter what the memories and experiences is truly what life is about.

Which do you consider to be more important?
