The Coach Tabby : Review

This is a first for me a Bag Review. I start with the Coach Tabby Pillow which I got in a cream colour. From when I started making my own money I was not so much interested in bags from the likes of Coach unless I visited the USA and took a trip to an outlet village. Because everyone knows there are some ultimate bargains out there for the win. However Coach has been revived with the likes of Jennifer Lopez at the helm of the most recent adverts and it had be sold for sure. Proof that celebrity does still work.

Here is a short review or opinion of the bag.....

The pillow bag is a buttery of leather which feels great however it can be easily scratched. And with the cream colour that I bought you can see a lot of the scuffs. Fortunately Coach offer a free cleaning service which means when you are at a shopping center or high street you can get it cleaned whilst you continue shopping. That's another reason why I love to purchase premium and designer items because of the extra services in which they offer for free. (Ok that took me down a different road.)

Functionality

It is a pillow bag which means it looks bigger than what it is. I am used to using bags with a bit more space. Which this bag for me does not have. It is definitely not an everyday bag, but more of a going out shopping with the girls or date evening bag. Its great that you can detach each handle. If I'm going for a casual vibe I  will use the long body strap, if it is date night it will be the shorter handle.

Final Word

I do think it was slightly overhyped this bad across social media. However I succumbed to the insta hype. I thought it was worth it and I managed to get a bit of a discount. I need the colour way and I can wear it with most if not all of my wardrobe. Definitely get it if like me you needed a cream/ nude colored bag big enough to carry your IPhone 12 Pro Max, keys and a bit of make up, without breaking the bank.

Its a 8/10 for me !!!

Here a few different colour ways and sizes too:

What bags have you had your eye on? Have you bought any bags recently?

Business Owner: Over a Year Old

I enjoy writing these experiences as I wished someone had done the same for me.

Let me start by saying that running your own business is not easy and  many sacrifices have to be made. It can be stressful but it’s your own stress it’s not the stress passed on from others. Which to be honest I dont mind. And plus I love seeing the results of what I have done. So

Setbacks
There have been many setbacks within the business and for my company. All of which have been lessons learnt though. Dare I say it all have been very humbling too. For example I designed something and someone else decided to pinch a lot of the idea. From that I keep the designs to myself until I’m ready to launch or I get the assisted or consultant who will help me to sign a contract so they cannot use the same design.

Delegate
This has been a very difficult one for me and again have had to learn the hard way. Like with life there are only so many hours in the day for you to complete things. When you start a company you try to do everything yourself. Money maybe short and you cannot afford to hire any staff. So you do the work by yourself. Eventually money is not so much of an issue and instead time is, and you realise that hiring someone else to do other tasks is what is required for the business. Every so often I will hire someone for website updates and as consultant. And recently considering having a Personal Assistant too. ( Some people may think this is extra, but I’m of the thinking of get help when you need it.)

Time
Organisation has been my best friend in order to find the time to do anything. I decide to set days or times dedicated to the business. This is so that no other aspect of my life is neglected. I get so much more done in a day once I’ve set my schedule out. I follow a list which I follow according to what I need to do. For example this week I will be redesigning and organising the website. Which means that I must create new content, create forms and hire a web developer to work with soon.

Network
This can be done in so many ways. Commenting on posts related to the business is key. I talk to professionals in the field having open discussions on subjects that will effect the company. Attending events is very key and trainings there you can have instant interactions with people who are in the same profession as you.

Reflection
Sometimes during the most hardships I reflect. I used to do this after everyday of working on my business but only have time to do this once a week. I do it on a Friday so I can prepare for the ‘don’ts ‘ for the following week. It allows me to be clear in the aims of the company. I come up with some great ideas and I talk to other about some of them. It’s a beautiful process.

Ok so when I started writing this I though let me give them an update on being a business owner. Instead it turned out to be tips I wish I had before I started. Needless to say writing things down is so very important no matter what industry you are in. I’m currently not only a business owner but a life learner and writing in is important in everything is continue to do.

I would love to hear about the businesses you own, the side hustles you have and the amazing ideas that you are just about to embark on.

Here are some of the things that have helped me on the way:

Do you own a business? What business do you own? How do you handle business?

What's Been Happening August 2021

 What’s been happening….

So the last month has been pretty crazy. There have been a few life changes and adjustments but I am here, I am blessed.

Fitness and health

One word is disgusted. I am disgusted in myself that I have not been working out as hard as I usually should. My eating has also been disgusting too. And now on my blog I am holding myself accountable of these things. I will do better and I intend to start tomorrow. (I write this on a Sunday Afternoon) I will start the gym tomorrow and continue with my daily workouts. I’ve set myself a monthly goal and I’ll be getting there.

Business Ownership

This one needs its own blogpost. (Which I will be doing soon.) Most if not all entrepreneurs and CEOs will understand that nothing ever plans out how it needs to plan out. And believe me when I say the mountains I have had to climb and for somethings to go against me has been character building for sure.

Out and about

The world has opened up for sure. Apart from the borders to the countries I want to travel to. So unfortunately for me I’m stuck in the UK for a while. However I’ve ticked a few restaurants from my list and other activities in which I can do here. And will continue to do so over the next few weeks.

Cleanse

I’ve been doing lots of clearouts over the last few weeks. Only because my space just feels so cluttered with stuff. If the last 2 years has taught me anything is that I don’t need a lot of the things that I have. And like most people I keep on going back to the same items of clothing or shoes and bags. In regards to furniture my style has totally changed and most of the things just don’t suit me anymore. For a few bargains head over to: (click the links to find a bargain.)
 EBay Depop or Vinted

What’s next

I enjoy writing this what’s next in regards to the blog because I can and you can hold me to account.  I have one little project that I will be launching by the end of year. As we head into the final 5 months of the year there is so much to happen.  Set those goals and smash them. That’s my intention for the last few months of 2021.

What have you been up to? Where have you been travelling to?
